Despite the ongoing speculations on the
possibility of poor financial performance, the Kenya Airways shares have continued to
perform well on the Dar Stock Exchange. According
to the data posted on the DSE website, KQ shares topped the gainers wit +7%
price increases.
This could reflect investors’ confidence on
good performance of KQ amid ongoing strategies on capital expansion strategies.
With the current level of competition in airline industry it is interested to
see how the company will perform in the future.
It should be remembered that, last week Kenya Airways issued a Cautionary announcement to its shareholders regarding to its plans of issuing new shares on prorate basis as the strategy towards expansion of its capital base.
